A Sketch Worth Keeping
On a Wednesday evening in the West Village, personalized dog gifts began the way the classics do: with a pen, a willing subject, and a single confident line. Inside The Carriage House, illustrator Rob Wilson settled in to draw. One by one, the guests' dogs sat for their portraits.
Editors, stylists, influencers, and tastemakers moved through the room over cocktails and light bites, while the dogs collected treats of their own. Leatherology's fall colors and product assortment were on display, an early look at the season ahead.
The evening still belonged to the drawings. Each was one of a kind, drawn in the room and handed over to keep. And each was set for a second life in leather. That was the idea all along: a sketch worth keeping, twice.

How It Came Together
-
The Sitting
Rob sketched each guest's dog on site, capturing every subject as a one-of-a-kind illustration. No two drawings left the room alike.
-
The Original
Guests took the original sketch home that evening. The drawing on paper is theirs to keep.
-
The Deboss
Through Yours, Truly, each drawing is debossed onto a black square leather valet tray. The line work is pressed into the leather, turning a piece of dog artwork into an everyday essential.
-
The Delivery
The finished tray will be sent to each guest. It's the same sketch, now made for the keys, rings, and small things of every day.

Personalized Dog Gifts, Made in Leather
Every portrait from the evening finds its place on the Square Valet Tray. Through Yours, Truly, your own artwork or an AI Designer creation can do the same, making it one of the season's most considered dog lover gifts.
Kept, Twice
Custom dog portraits usually end up on a wall. The ones from Sit. Stay. Sketch. go further: the original on paper, and the same lines pressed into leather, both made to last.
A good drawing captures a moment. A well-made tray carries it into every day after.
